Oyinkan Idowu is a seasoned lawyer and law practice manager based in Lagos, Nigeria with 21 years of experience in legal practice. As a practice manager, she has successfully overseen the operational, financial, and strategic management of various law firms, ensuring efficiency and business growth. In addition to legal practice, she is a certified mediator accredited by the International Mediation Institute (IMI), Germany, bringing a wealth of expertise in ADR and conflict management.
She currently works as a Senior Associate and the Practice Manager of Akinwunmi & Busari LP, where she is also a member of the Power and Energy team. She is passionate about legal business development and operational excellence, and is a dedicated member of the Association on the committee for Learning and Development. Her areas of expertise include legal practice, law firm operational management, financial management for law firms, strategic management, alternative dispute resolution, mediation and conflict management, legal business development, and operational excellence.
Oyinkan holds an LL.B from the University of Ibadan, a B.L from the Nigerian Law School, and an LL.M from the University of Hull, U.K. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Mediation Institute (IMI), Germany.
